Adina Nyree is a Black woman of Caribbean descent, raised in New York. She has often been mistaken for a southern belle and a Brit, somehow randomly picking up accents of the people she is around. A radio personality once asked Adina who were the other women on her first fusion album of poetry and music. All of it was her. This gave way to Adina realizing she might have a future in the voice over field. Adina was also a medical massage therapist for 20+ years and speaks "medical-ease" without a hiccup, suiting her well to voicing for medical content others might shy away from. Her natural youthful and "poppy" voice is often thought to be a perfect fit for children's book narration, as well as animated teenage characters.
